The Exit Device Holder

A pair of these will attach magnetically to steel doors and hold the bar in place while removing screws, replacing batteries, or performing other repairs on the bar.  Uses 8 130-pound magnets.

Banana Wedge

A more effective door holder than the usual brown rubber wedges. Gap spacing of about ¾” to about 1-¾” from door to ground. Two of them placed under the door from each side can hold the door steady.

Through-Bolt Installation Jig

Provides exact drill points for installing a grade 2 lever at 2-3/4" backset onto a wood door where there is currently a standard cylindrical knob cutout. Tested with Arrow RLX and Schlage ALX series, 70mm post to post spacing. Wood door only, not for metal. Held together with a 1/4-20 bolt with a knob top (not shown). Steel bearing inserts are heat-set at the drill point holes, but still needs to be drilled gently.

Through Bolt Installation Guide

Similar to the above jig for wood doors, this guide provides exact drill points for through bolts of grade 2 levers for steel doors. Use the drill points to centerpunch the door on both faces, then drill with a step bit. Used on a 70+ door project, dropped the installation time to about 20 minutes from 45. Used with the Chips Collector to reduce cleanup time. Tested with Arrow RLX and Schlage ALX.

Kwikset and Schlage Bottom Pin Kit

Combines the popular Kwikset and Schlage bottom pins in one storage kit. The lid and hinge parts are below.

The Kwikset and Schlage master pins kit uses the same lid assembly below.

A bottom angled wedge can be added at the bottom of the kit for comfortable access to the pins. The lid is a separate part from the bottom or master pins tray.

Magnetic Door Holder

Uses two 130-pound strength magnets to keep the typical non-latching storefront doors closed in windy conditions, creating a momentary need to use additional push or pull to start the door moving. 

Adams Rite 4550L Installation Guide

Use instead of the provided template sticker to mark precise locations for the mounting screw holes as well as the indicator lifter spring figure-8 hole for the 4550L.
